LA VINESS AWARDS

There will be many awards. To win a La Viness Award, your work must have a good story line with a beginning, middle, and end. It must be well edited. It must be so interesting we'll remember it next year.

I have a collection of assistant judges who help me select the winners of my contests. ALL my contests are judged blind, which means the judges never know who wrote the stories they are reading until after the winners are announced.

I have also judged contests for other groups and events, but they are not listed below.

Currently, I am offering the following La Viness Awards:

.
#1. Blow Me Away Contest, for those who enter contests at the White County Creative Writers Conference. (Previously: Family History Fiction, and Cozy Seasoned Romance)

#2. La Viness Short Story Writing Contest, for anyone age 18 or older. Has a different annual theme. (This contest ended permanently in 2024, but the winning authors and their titles remain online.)

#3. Middle Grade Fiction for Boys ages 9-12 for those who enter contests at the Ozark Creative Writers Conference.

.
